"Tropical Sunset" is oil on unframed plywood and is not for sale. However, it does demonstrate very well how paintings can be simply plucked out of the imagination. David sat down in front of a blank piece of plywood for a minute or two, then produced this scene of a tropical sunset, as witnessed from within a wooded area. Again, it shows water flowing from foothills, which seems to be a common theme in David's paintings.
